Sometimes inspiration can come from unlikely sources. Costume designer Mary Zophres has done amazing work with the costumes in True Grit. Many wardrobe elements from the young Hailee Steinfeld as Mattie Ross are inspiring! From the white peter pan collar with her full brows, rosy cheeks worn with the two plaits, to the hat, buttoned up shirt, menswear oversize overcoat and belt, she looks ADORABLE.
